Why we invested
Infinite Canvas is a publisher for user-generated, creator-led games. Infinite Canvas empowers game developers by providing development, engineering, and monetization support.
"When I was working at LendingHome [the country’s largest lender to house flippers], I saw how flippers took advantage of homeowners who didn’t have the knowledge or capital to renovate their homes before selling. Flippers would buy the house “as is”, renovate it and then sell for huge profits. We want to make it easy for homeowners to pre-flip their home before selling and keep that profit for themselves. We can help any homeowner, but we especially love helping homeowners who are disadvantaged or deserving of our help. For example, one of our clients was a school teacher in Los Angeles who had been laid off during the pandemic. Freemodel spent $46,000 to remodel her home and she made an additional $151,000 in profit when she sold. She’s now happily retired in Portugal!”

More from the team
"Freemodel’s mission is to make it easy for homeowners to renovate their home before selling and keep that profit for themselves. Freemodel plans, manages and pays for remodels with no upfront costs. Homeowners only pay when their house sells. We do everything from pre-sales prep (paint, carpet, landscaping etc) all the way up to full remodels: New kitchens, bathrooms, the works. - We typically earn anywhere from 2X to 3X the amount we invest for our homesellers. - Our homeowner clients literally do nothing and pay nothing upfront and walk away with many tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional profit."
